Somewhere, back in ancient times, a child was born with the ability to perform miracles with his hands.
No, we're not talking about Him, but another lad who brought healing to the ears of those afflicted by bad music. With the aide of his
mighty axe, the 'young one' conquered the enemies of golden oldies and secured a place of solitude for songs long remembered. You know
him now as Barry Petrillo, lead guitar-player and singer in HOTROD. But once, a long time ago, he walked the Earth as a child-saviour of Soul,
Funk and good old Rock & Roll.
Here now is the life of Petrillocus.
| December 31st, 1963: At age ten, preaching to the elders (Gil Rogers Band) at a local place of worship (Charles Diamond Club). |
 |
 |
Spring of 1967: At fourteen, Petrillocus begins to gather his disciples (Pisans). |
| Spring of 1969: At sixteen, His new followers help to spread the word to the masses (H.S. battle of the bands with Cracker). |
 |
 |
1970: Ministering in the catacombs with the congregation (Mad Moe). |
| 1984: Hiding from persecution with a splinter faction group (Hula Hoops). |
 |
And the rest is as they say....history.
